How This Began

In 2021, my co-founder Tara and I were frustrated. We'd watched too many homeowners get disconnected advice—a roofer who only talked about shingles, a solar installer focused on incentives, an insurance company that seemed designed to confuse. Nobody was looking at the whole picture. We realized homeowners needed someone in their corner who could guide them through roofing, solar, and the insurance maze all at once, with real answers instead of sales pitches.

Our first projects taught us fast. A client brought us a roofing estimate from another contractor that didn't account for solar placement. Another family had already gone solar but had no idea their roof was failing underneath. We saw the damage—literally and financially—of siloed thinking. So we committed to being different: one team, real expertise across all three areas, and honest conversations about what actually makes sense for each home.
